Tom Bauer works in television when he can, has written and edited several unsold and therefore unprofitable feature scripts, and has been working on a book of fiction since finishing graduate school several lifetimes ago. A couple of his short stories have scraped their way into a journal or two, and made the short-lists for the Quebec Writing and CBC Literary competitions. Technically, and metaphorically, he is classifiable as 'emerging', something he's been doing since it first began with his birth oh-so-many years ago. He lives, works and loves in Montreal.
